PVC SYSTEM FOR SEWERS

PVC Basicline

DOCUMENTS AND RESOURCES

PVC Basicline is the fittings and accessories system for non-pressure sewers, made of PVC-U in RAL 8023.

The jointing system is socket-mounted with an elastomer ring type BL or, on request, with a Forsheda 582 Din-Lock® type locked seal.

The pipe is available in lengths of 1, 3 and 6 metres and diameters from 110 to 500 mm.

PVC Basicline can be used for the drainage of non pressurised waste water, both civil (white, black and grey) and industrial, within the resistance limits to chemical elements.

ADVANTAGES OF

PVC BASICLINE

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

High resistance to the corrosive action of the subsoil and waste water, even in the presence of acidic and alkaline solutions, and to gaseous mineral and organic substances of various kinds dissolved in the waste water, including the main classes of hydrocarbons.

NO SEDIMENTS
NO SEDIMENTS

Particularly low pressure loss and sedimentation on the inside. Excellent resistance to algae and bacteria and no clogging by microparticles, mould, fungus and lime scale.

RESISTENZA MECCANICA
MECHANICAL STRENGTH

High mechanical resistance even at low temperatures, allowing safe handling in all conditions without breakage problems.

AMPIA GAMMA
WIDE RANGE

The wide range of diameters (from 110 to 500 mm) allows use in all types of construction: residential, road or industrial.

TIPI DI GIUNZIONE
JOINT TYPES

Coupling system with socket and elastomeric triple-lip seal made of EPDM in compliance with UNI EN 681/1 WC, or on request with blocking, anti-loosening Forsheda 582 Din-Lock® type seal, especially suitable in presence of large diameters.

HYDRAULIC TIGHTNESS
HYDRAULIC TIGHTNESS

The pipe/fitting system guarantees a constant hydraulic seal over time, even in case of deformations caused by ground settling and/or transit of very heavy loads, hydraulic stress and pressure caused by exceptional operating loads and external infiltrations.

LEGGEREZZA
LIGHTWEIGHT

Especially light system compared to other traditional products in use, easy handling on site and greater safety during installation of the product are therefore guaranteed.

PVC Basicline
Compact PVC-U fittings

The Valsir PVC Basicline fittings are produced with compact PVC with the addition of mineral loads as established by the standard (PVC minimum 85% of the total mix).
The complete range of PVC Basicline fittings for sewer systems meets all market requirements in terms of sizes and type:

  • Discharges of civil and industrial waste waters (white, black and mixed water)
  • Agricultural industrial discharges and waste water in general

Measurements and geometrical data of the products comply with UNI EN 1401.

Most fittings are made using moulding technology, while larger diameters are made by thermoforming. The Valsir fittings are marked and certified by Italian and foreign institutes.

Joint systems

The joining of pipes and fittings is done by push-fit coupling using two types of gaskets:

  • Standard: pre-mounted single-lip elastomeric seal (SBR), type BL (UNI EN 681 standard)
  • Upon request: elastomer gasket made of two-component (TPV-E and PP) type Forsheda 582 Din-Lock® with triple lip

The locked gasket coupling system allows for easier insertion and ensures the stability of the gasket when engaging even large pipe diameters.

Both joint systems absorb ground movements.

...
Forsheda Elastomeric Gasket 582 Din-Lock®
  • Gasket stability during pipe joining operations.
  • Easy insertion thanks to the design and pre-lubrication of the gasket.
  • Perfect water tightness once installed in compliance with UNI EN 1277 at a pressure up to 0.5 bar.
  • Ability to absorb ground movements or vibrations even after installation (caused by static, hydrostatic and dynamic loads).

When two pipes are joined, the rubber sealing element is designed to deform to create a seal, acting on both the joint and the socket.
