Why have we chosen this path?
Sustainability connects efficiency and productivity
In today's context, efficient processes and reliable products are not sufficient parameters to judge the quality of a company's performance. What is decisive is the ability, obviously linked to the vision of the company management, to design and develop sustainability processes that are meaningful for us in the long term.
The protection of environmental resources is no longer just an 'option'. We are all aware that the transition to a production and economic structure which is truly sustainable over time is a priority to which the business world is already called upon to respond.
Valsir is a company which is historically linked to its territory: it is a deep bond, which is part of our own corporate culture. It would be unthinkable for all of us to look at Valsir's future without taking this into account.
And because we believe in the enormous opportunities that sustainable development and a responsible economy represent for our business fabric, we decided more than 15 years ago, to embark on a development path based on this idea.
Since then, sustainability (understood in its three aspects: environmental, social, economic) plays a fundamental role in the way we do business at Valsir.
We have therefore designed a long-term strategy, involving all stakeholders, identifying progressive objectives for growth and improvement of our performance.
For us, sustainability means operating, reducing waste,
increasing waste separation and improving energy efficiency
while respecting the environment and
people to ensure the future in the most ethical and efficient way possible,
generating profit in a sustainable manner.
