Tecnocollar is a firestop collar designed to ensure the fire resistance (up to EI 240) of wall and floor plant penetrations according to EN 1366-3.
It consists of a steel shell divided into two elements that allow the collar to wrap around the penetration with a simple “open and lock” mechanism. Inside Tecnocollar is a ring of graphite-based thermo-expanding material that - when exposed to heat - rapidly seals the collar, preventing the flames from spreading.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
Tecnocollar can be used in masonry walls (aerated and non-aerated concrete), in lightweight walls (plasterboard) and in rigid floors (concrete) for effective fire protection of the penetrations of all types of plants.
EI 240 resistance according to EN 13501-2 is guaranteed for:
- Combustible pipes
- Tubi combustibili insonorizzati
- Tubi incombustibili isolati

- Varchi vuoti

OF THE TECNOCOLLAR SYSTEM
RESISTANCE CLASS EI240
The EI240 designation is equivalent to a resistance to fire, combustion gases and thermal insulation for at least 4 hours.
SIMPLIFIED INSTALLATION
The system can be installed either on a vertical wall or in a slab, and the installation can also be carried out on pipes that have already been laid.
WIDE RANGE
Tecnocollar is available in diameters from 32 mm to 315 mm (with a collar height of 50, 60 or 75 mm), and can be used in an extremely wide range of applications.
VERSATILITY OF USE
Tecnocollar is suitable for a wide range of pipes, including all Valsir HDPE and PP ranges (including soundproofing systems)
EASE OF INSTALLATION
Quick, easy installation thanks to the “open and lock” system. Once in place, the system is guaranteed for 30 years!
