Pexal Connex-T has been designed to minimise the margin for error and to make installation as easy as possible: it is not always easy to work on existing pipes, because of the location and the confined space in which the installation takes place.
Connex-T is a real revolution in the installation of multilayer systems.
Developed to create derivations on new or existing large diameter multilayer pipes, it significantly reduces laying time and costs and facilitates maintenance work.
The special push-in profile on the pipe has been designed and engineered to minimise pressure drops.
Tested in accordance with the most stringent international standards for multilayer systems and subjected to the most stringent quality tests, Connex-T has a guaranteed durability of at least 50 years in full compliance with the regulations. Its use is permitted with pressure of 10 bar and temperatures of up to 95°C.
ADVANTAGES OF
PEXAL CONNEX-T
ON PREINSTALLED PIPES
Connex-T makes it possible to realise a bypass with a significant reduction in costs related to both material used and labour. With traditional systems, it is necessary to cut a fairly long piece of pipe and insert 2 fittings in order to create a derivation. Connex-T can be installed without cutting the pipe or installing additional fittings.
STRENGTH AND DURABILITY
Exceptional mechanical strength characteristics thanks to the technopolymer body. Durability guaranteed for 50 years when used at pressures of 10 bar and temperatures as high as 95°C.
SAFE INSTALLATION
The screw holes are provided with special profiles that prevent them from slipping out during installation. Lock nuts integrated inside the rear half-shell to simplify screw fastening and prevent them from slipping out. The locking ring nut on the threaded insert prevents over-tightening, which could damage the pipe.
QUALITY TEST
Pexal Connex-T is tested according to the most stringent international standards for multilayer systems (DVGW W542, DVGW W534, EN ISO 21003 -2 -3 and -5). It is manufactured from fully recyclable materials and the production processes used are energy efficient and low impact, in line with Green Building principles.
WIDE RANGE
Available in diameters from 50 mm to 90 mm with derivations (1/2" to 1"), Connex-T does not reduce the passage in the pipe and the special insert profile minimises pressure losses.
SUITABLE FOR DRINKING WATER
The system consists of completely non-toxic materials that are certified for transport of food fluids and drinking water.

The details that make the difference
A number of innovative solutions have been designed for Connex-T to reduce installation time and eliminate margins of error in order to help the installer who must often work in tight spaces.
Locking ring nut with end of stroke
The threaded insert locking ring nut is designed for easy and safe installation. It is equipped with an end-of-stroke system preventing excessive tightening forces that may damage the multilayer pipe.
Half-shell locking system
Special hooks located on the half-shells allow locking the two parts of Connex-T before the final locking with the closing screws, preventing the two parts from falling off.
Anti-loosening system of screws
Special profiles have been made in the passage holes of the closing screws to prevent slipping during installation. The screw head allows using both a socket wrench and an electric screwdriver/screwdriver for tightening.
Integrated lock nuts
Lock nuts are inside the rear half-shell to ensure better tightening of the closing screws.
Their seat is designed to prevent them from slipping out during installation and to ensure a higher tightening torque.
