Tropea S represents an absolute novelty on the international scene, a state-of-the-art and innovative product: the first cistern in the world designed to reduce the noise generated during use.
The experience gained by Valsir in the Triplus, Silere and PP3 soundproof waste systems has enabled us to develop a special plastic compound with the aim of making the flush cistern silent.
Laboratory tests show that the perceived noise from Tropea S is 5 times lower compared to the most widely-used cisterns on the market.
Furthermore, the internal components of the Tropea S have been certified at the prestigious Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart as Class I quietness (both at 3 and 5 bar) according to ISO EN 3822.
Tropea S is the only in-wall cistern on the market with a float valve and a stop valve certified at the top of the category in terms of reduced noise emissions

SOUNDPROOF CONTAINER
The container material is designed for high absorption of acoustic vibrations and, consequently, to ensure the quietness of the cistern.
CHOICE OF ACTIVATION
The cistern drive mechanism can be mechanical, pneumatic, electronic and mechanical, or mechanical and pneumatic simultaneously.
CLEANS ALL PAN TYPES
Patented by Valsir, the flush valve guarantees the cleaning of all pan types, including rimless pans: Tropea S is therefore perfectly compatible with all WC pan models.
LIMESCALE RESISTANT
The different materials of the flush and float valves hinder the formation of limescale. As a result, Tropea S has great durability.
SIMPLE AND SAFE
The rotating inlet connection simplifies installation of the cistern. Tropea S is supplied 100% pre-assembled and water tested to avoid any unforeseen problems on site.
CERTIFIED
The internal components of Tropea S are certified according to ISO EN 3822, in silence class I. All rubber components comply with EN 681/WC, a guarantee of their unmatched quality and resistance to chemical agents.
Water savings
Tropea S allows you to manage water consumption and protect environmental resources! Adjusting the cistern outlet is extremely simple: it can be set to 6/3, 4.5/3 or 4/2 litres to use only the amount of water needed.
Compared to a conventional 9-litre flush cistern, this translates into a saving of up to 72 litres of water per day for a family of four, or more than 26,000 one-litre bottles in a year!
Tropea S has also received two important awards for this: the WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards) certification issued by the Australian government and the WELL (Water Efficiency LabeL) certification issued by Germany's VDMA Services.
We wanted to make available the EPD declaration certifying the environmental impact of the production of Tropea S Block according to the complete LCA analysis, i.e. 'from cradle to grave'.
To reach this figure, we monitored and optimised not only the production phases, but considered the product life cycle in its entirety: today we can say that the Tropea S system is a 'champion of sustainability', from the extraction of raw materials to the disposal of the product itself.
