Since it was introduced, Tropea S has represented an absolute innovation on the market thanks to its technological components.

The first feature introduced by Tropea S regards its acoustical comfort: it is the first flush cistern designed to reduce the noise generated during operation.

Our experience in designing soundproof waste systems has given us the ability to develop soundproof plastic materials that deliver ever higher performance, including a compound that can reduce the noise in flush cisterns: laboratory tests have demonstrated how Tropea S is up to five times more silent than the most common flush cisterns on the market.

But that’s not all: the internal components of Tropea S, tested at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart, are certified Class 1 for silence – in compliance with ISO EN 3822 – both at 3 and 5 bar.

The installation of Tropea S allows total flexibility both when choosing the type of activation (mechanical, pneumatic, electronic) and the type of toilet bowl to be paired with the flush cistern, including Rimless toilet bowls. The cistern can be easily installed thanks to the connection fitting, which can rotated as needed, and is supplied 100% pre-assembled to reduce installation times.

Water is our most precious resource

The second greatest benefit of Tropea S is the sustainability factor from a water savings viewpoint. In Italy, in fact, approximately 30% of the water consumption by a family is used for flushing the toilet.

Tropea S is developed with a flushing volume set at 6/3 litres in line with Green Building principles and the protection of natural resources. But it even offers the reduction of the flush to 4.5/3 or 4/2 litres: when compared with traditional cisterns, which have a flush using 9 litres, Tropea allows a family of four to save up to 72 litres per day, which totals over 26,000 litres of drinking water in a year.

Suited for any wall

Tropea S is available in a range of technical solutions that make it suitable for any type of wall and architectural requirement; in addition to the classic masonry wall for installation of floor-mounted toilet bowls, other versions include:

• FixSystem – With a galvanized sheet frame for wall-hung toilet bowls and masonry walls
• Block – With a steel structure for the installation on lightweight walls (such as plasterboard) with a wall-hung bowl
• Freestanding block – For the most challenging installations, in plasterboard or mixed walls, and with a wall-hung bowl, also when there are no anchor point for the frame

Installing Tropea S allows the use of any type of control plate, including models of the Valsir Design line and pneumatic buttons for the remote control.
