Built-in toilet cistern: why it is the ideal choice

FLUSHING SYSTEMS

When designing or renovating a bathroom, the built-in toilet cistern is now an established standard in every context, but also one of the most important decisions. It is not just a technical accessory, but a system that contributes to everyday comfort, water savings and, indirectly, the aesthetics of the environment. In fact, in addition to allowing for flexible use of space, concealed cisterns can be combined with control plates that have a strong aesthetic impact.

Valsir concealed toilet cisterns

Almost 40 years of international experience in the plumbing and heating sector have led us to develop three lines of concealed cisterns that meet different needs: Tropea S, Winner S and Cubik S. All share the same attention to detail, certified quietness and use of innovative materials.

  • Tropea S is one of the slimmest on the market, with a depth of only 90 mm. Ideal for renovations and small spaces, it combines water efficiency and acoustic comfort.
  • Winner S stands out for its versatility: with a minimum height of 800 mm, it can also be installed under windows or in bathrooms with unusual layouts.
  • Cubik S is the most compact, just 300 mm wide, and is the perfect solution for technical environments and special installations.

A quieter (and more sustainable) bathroom

One of the main advantages of our concealed cisterns is their quietness. Thanks to a plastic compound developed in the company's laboratories, the noise generated when filling the cistern is drastically reduced. In addition, the internal components are certified according to ISO EN 3822 and NF international standards, confirming their high acoustic performance.

Sustainability is no longer an optional extra either: all three concealed cisterns feature flush control systems designed to reduce consumption. Different volumes can be set – 6/3 litres, 4.5/3 litres or 4/2 litres – without compromising on flushing efficiency.Tropea S and Winner S, in particular, have obtained WELL certification, which certifies the highest level of water efficiency in Europe.

Design and customisation

The concealed cisterns are not visible, but the control plates certainly are. That's why we have created a range of over 40 models with 240 possible combinations.

Tempered glass, stainless steel, anodised aluminium, coloured acrylic, and even luxury finishes such as copper and gold: each plate is a piece of furniture that transforms the perception of the bathroom. For those who want maximum integration, a kit is also available to create a customised plate, which can also be covered with the same materials as the walls.

Installation versatility

Our concealed cisterns are designed to adapt to any type of building project. The following solutions are available:

  • For masonry walls and floor-mounted toilets
  • Fixsystem, which simplifies the installation of wall-hung toilets thanks to the templates supplied with the structure
  • Block and Block self-supporting, ideal for plasterboard and lightweight walls, with a resistance of up to 400 kg

This variety of solutions allows installers and designers to always count on the most suitable configuration, with the certainty of quick installation and reliable results.

An advantageous choice for professionals too

For those working on site, our 100% pre-assembled cisterns mean faster and safer installation. The swivel supply connection facilitates connection to the water supply, while the ergonomic design of the internal components and accessibility via the large inspection window ensure easy maintenance; the poka-yoke logic of the components prevents incorrect positioning: a further guarantee of reliability. In addition, through Valsir Academy, installers and designers have access to a dedicated high-level technical training programme.
