The new structure, located next to the Tan Sri Dato Haji Hassan Yunos Stadium, was built to host the games of "Sukma 2022", and designed for indoor sports such as badminton, takraw, basketball, etc
The building was designed in order to accommodate about 7,000 spectators, ensuring the public the best possible view in full compliance with all safety standards. For this purpose it has been chosen a hybrid form between a square and a circle, which recurs also in the exterior facade, and which derives from the traditional design of the houses of Johorean.
Valsir participated in the project with the Rainplus rainwater drainage system, thanks to the support of the local partner Bessflow and the supervision of Jeffery Yap.
