Anti-slip Collars

The standard range includes anti-slip collars to ensure clamping between pipe and fitting.

First, the collar grips the pipe or fitting where it is installed to prevent it from slipping off. And second, because of its special shape it wraps around the end of the socket, pipe, or fitting, while still allowing it to move to compensate for any thermal expansion. Typical applications for this collar are:

• Internal pipe overpressure.
• Negative or positive pressure systems.
• Tight space installations.
• Locking of plugs on the push-fit sockets, in order to carry out future system inspections.
