In replacement of the old Directive 89/106 of the 1st July 2013, the European Regulation 305/2011 on building products has come into force, entailing a Declaration of Performance, which substitutes the old Declaration of Compliance, compulsory for each product.
The DoP adds to the CE marking of building products: all the building products, submitted to the European harmonised rules, must compulsorily be provided with the CE marking and the relative DoP.
It’s illegal to commercialize products lacking the CE marking and the DoP.
