Silvestro: designing plumbing and heating systems has never been so easy.

Valsir has always been tuned in to planners needs and this is demonstrated by the continuous and constant evolution of the Silvestro design suite.  It is a complete, reliable and extremely simple design software, created in compliance with the most important technical standards UNI EN 1264, UNI EN 12056, EN 806, UNI EN 12831, UNI EN 832. Silvestro, thanks to its four modules, allows:

the design of floor, radiator and convective heating systems,

the design of water supply systems,

the calculation of thermal loads and seasonal energy requirements,

the creation on-line of project estimates.

Silvestro is one of the most complete design suites for plumbing and heating systems: in fact, during the first few months of 2008 the design suite was further improved with the addition of the module for waste system dimensioning inside the building in compliance with the European Standards UNI EN 12056. It is in fact possible to rapidly dimension waste systems with the use of pipes in polyethylene or polypropylene or with the more advanced soundproof pipes Triplus and Silere that have been tested in compliance with the standards DIN 4109 and EN 14366.  Rapid, simple, unique. Silvestro  allows you to design primary, direct and indirect parallel or secondary ventilation systems both in the top view plan and the vertical elevation view.

 

 

AutoCad interface

It does not require AutoCad®, in fact, it has its own graphical editor that allows the user to draw buildings to scale with the use of typical AutoCad® tools. It is, however, possible to import files from AutoCad® or from the scanner by means of the application incorporated into the package and once the plumbing and heating system has be completed, the project can be exported once more to AutoCad®.

 

 

Diagnostics

The software is equipped with a diagnostics system that allows the type of error to be rapidly identified, where the errors have occurred  and also analyses the corrections suggested by the software. The appropriate modifications are made to the project with extreme simplicity. The software is also capable of visualising suggestions and warnings that allow the user to optimise the system.

 

Virtual functions

To increase rapidity in the creation of the project it is possible to adopt a system that is really one of its kind: the virtual conduit; in this way it is no longer necessary to create the entire system before sizing it. The user can, for example, draw the system upstream of the distribution manifold without necessarily having to draw the downstream part composed of the risers, the boiler, etc.

 

Info on line

During planning it is possible to position the mouse over any single element to instantaneously receive all the information relative to that element. For example, by selecting a distribution manifold, the software will visualise the type of manifold chosen, the number of outlets, the regulation of any of the balancing valves, the pressure losses on the circuits connected to it, etc.

 

Updates

Silvestro can be updated via Internet by means of a simple automatic upgrade procedure that verifies the presence of updates in the applications or in the database of the products. The user can decide which updates to download and the software will have them installed automatically.
