The polypropylene waste system
The Valsir pipes and fittings in flame-retardant polypropylene are produced with UV stabilized grey (RAL 7037) homo-polymer polypropylene. They are smooth, shiny and free of irregularities that would compromise the functional aspect.
They meet the requirements of the Standard UNI EN 1451 and can be used inside buildings for civil and industrial use and in particular for the following applications:
waste pipes for the drainage of domestic waste water (low and high temperatures);
ventilation pipes connected to the waste system;
drainage of rainwater inside the building structure.
Characteristics
Dimensional stability and total guarantee the of the seal thanks to the double-lipped elastomer seal and support ring.
Good impact resistance and excellent resistance to hot water discharged from washing machines and dishwashers (up to 95°C continuously).
Excellent compatibility with most chemical substances normally found in waste water, does not come under attack by micro-organisms.
Thanks to the extremely smooth internal surfaces pressure losses are reduced to a minimum; they also guarantee the absence of deposits or build-up of bacterial flora.
Absence of problems caused by stray currents.
Pipes and special pieces extremely lightweight, owing to the low specific weight and the geometrical characteristics.
Special tools and equipment are not required.
Very rapid and easy to install. Transport and handling are facilitated due to the reduced dimensions and the light weight of the products.
Availability of a wide range of special pieces, all push-fit that allow the creation of all types of systems.
