This year, 2008, Valsir will be participating as sponsor to the Team Pulsar in the Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race 2008, the greatest Offshore Race in the World.

The Round Britain Offshore Powerboat Race 2008 has been described as the “Everest of Powerboat Racing” and “The Greatest Offshore Powerboat Race in The World”.

Over 60 boats, crew and support teams are taking part and the race, besides being an event with humanitarian objectives and that attracts a large audience, will also provide lots of activity at each venue during race times.

The race will start on the 21st of June from Portsmouth and finish on the 30th June having circumnavigated the British coastline.
Valsir is supporting the Team Pulsar, which has entered 2 boats in this 1600 mile marathon.
The aim of the 2 crews of the Team Pulsar Racing is also to contribute the proceeds of the race to a children’s charity.
The crew’s comments: “Our intentions are to compete at the highest level in our class and complete the race successfully. We aim, with your support, to raise a substantial sum of money for our nominated charities and support those that are less well off than ourselves” .
